Fun Holidays

This week is all about the fun holidays. It’s kicked off today with Pi Day which is pretty popular among math and baking enthusiasts. The rest of the week features International Day of Mathematics, National Napping Day, World Social Work Day, Global Recycling Day, National Panda Day, International Day of Happiness, and more. Saint Patrick's Day also happens this week, which is a real holiday, but it’s also pretty fun, so we’re counting it.

Spring is Here

The Spring Equinox (also known as the Vernal Equinox) arrives this Sunday in the Northern Hemisphere. The Spring Equinox occurs when the tilt of the Earth's rotational axis reaches a particular position where the Sun is exactly above the Equator and day and night are of equal length. Thanks, Google. But before the equinox comes The Ides of March, which aren’t as fun if you’re an Ancient Roman with a lot of debt, or Julius Ceasar.
