NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) mission is a planetary defense-driven test of technologies for preventing an impact of Earth by a hazardous asteroid. DART will be the first demonstration of the kinetic impactor technique to change the motion of an asteroid in space. So yeah, it’s just like Armageddon, a movie that’s based on cold hard science.

There are tons of cool movies and tv shows to watch this week, but nothing beats the National Dog Show for us. Can this finally be the year a golden retriever wins, please? DMX fans (so, everyone) are going to love this new documentary, House of Gucci hits theaters, Marvel’s Hawkeye series hits Disney+, there’s a new Harry Potter Quiz Show, Encanto releases, and Peter Jackson’s documentary on The Beatles is finally available. If you need a laugh check out South Park: Post Covid, if you need a guilty pleasure watch, Selling Sunset season 4 is out. So yeah, something for everyone. That good boy pictured below is named Daniel, in case you were wondering.
