We are all Moroccan.

It would also be pretty cool to see Messi win a World Cup so, let’s all cross our fingers for a Morocco vs Argentina final. The semi-finals take place this week on Tuesday and Wednesday (games are scheduled for 11 am PDT), and the final takes place on Sunday at 7am PDT.

The Notorious M.E.T.A.

​Biggie Smalls is headed to the metaverse, hosting a concert in Horizon Worlds this week. Meta has put a lot of work into the show, but not nearly as much work as James Cameron has put into Avatar 2, which premieres on Friday (get your early tickets on Thursday).

If you’re more into real-world entertainment, there are two Oscar contenders dropping this week (Nanny and Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths releases). Harry & Meghan are back in Volume 2 of their Netflix series, David Letterman sits down with Volodymyr Zelenskyy today, and HBO has a documentary on the infamous Miss Cleo. Hanukkah begins.

This year, Hanukkah begins on Sunday, December 18, at sundown. The eight-day winter festival of lights begins each year on the 25th day of the Jewish month of Kislev. Hanukkah Sameach!
